  • 5K Run/Walk $40

    Includes a customized event t-shirt, bibbed chip timer, hydration stations, and access to awards.

    Kids are welcome to participate in the 5K! They must be registered to run to physically participate. If your child will remain in a stroller, registration is not required. Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their children along the route.

    Kids 10 & under FREE

    Perfect for participants with strollers, young kids, or anyone who wants to support the cause at a gentler pace.

    Please Note: Registration is required to receive an event t-shirt. Children ages 10 & under participate free but do not receive a complimentary shirt. Event t-shirts will be available for purchase at the vendor table while supplies last.

Support nurses by walking or running with others who are wildly passionate about caring for nurses!  Our 3rd annual fundraising event will be a fun filled event for everyone looking to support and encourage nurses! Whether you are a nurse or not, you are welcome as we support the individuals in the profession that care for others everyday! 

Join us for a scenic 5k run or walk and fun activities along the way! We will have vendors, food, inflatables, entertainment and more!

8am: Onsite packet pick up & day of registration open
8:45am Junction road closes
9am: 5K Run/Walk Starts // 9:10am: 1 mile Walkers start
10:15am : Junction road opens

5K Run/Walk - A 5K road run through the scenic farmlands of Manheim. Bring your strollers and your wagons. Runners will be timed by chipped bibs and prizes will be awarded accordingly.

19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+, Male & female 1st-3rd placed

Race Route Information

Race will take place at 1875 Junction Road in Manheim. This event is rain or shine!

Enjoy a beautiful run on Lancaster County backroads with an up and back route with fullroad closure & police presence for optimal safety! Please note, the road will close for the race at 8:45am and reopen at 10:15am. During this time, you will be directed to the Roots parking lot and will walk on a walking path to the event location.

Strollers are welcome - please follow appropriate running & passing etiquette.

Note: All ages are welcome to participate! We ask that parents use their best judgment when registering children, ensuring they can safely complete the 1-mile or 3-mile course. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the race.

There are many fun activities besides running!

Think FAIR VIBES! Inflatables, experience stations, local vendors, coffee & food trucks, raffle prizes & music! Whether you are running, cheering on a runner or are hanging out with us to support a great cause, there is no short of fun! We can not wait to have you!

 5K Fundraiser event FAQs

  • Absolutely! Spectators are FREE! You only have to pay and register if you are participating in the 5K Run/Walk or 1 mile Walk. You are more than welcome to come and cheer on runners & walkers and enjoy all we have to offer!

  • YES! Thank you to Falcon Timing, bibs will be chipped and you will be able to view your time at the completion of the race. Please note, this is a “Shot Gun Start” as the starting and finish line are not in the same location.

  • Strollers and wagons are absolutely fine while on the 5K route and off. Please follow race etiquette while passing on the route.

  • There is a large parking lot on site and we will have parking attendants directing you. Please note, the road will close for the race at 8:45am and reopen at 10:15am. During this time, you will be directed to the Roots parking lot and will walk on a walking path to the event location. Parking attendants will be available to help!

  • YES! All runners & walkers will sign a race waiver when they register. If you are registering the day of the race, a paper waiver will be available for you to sign.

  • Absolutely! On our volunteer form, see the roles with a * next to them. These can be done while also being able to run in the race.

  • We will hold onto t-shirts for 1 week following the event and it is your responsibility to reach out to us to schedule a time to pick up. If you want it shipped, you are responsible for shipping cost. Thank you for your understanding!

  • We do not offer refunds for this event. Thank you for your understanding.

  • If something happens on the course please find a volunteer and ask for help who will have basic medical supplies. You are responsible for bringing your epi pens, inhalers and other personal medications for your health.
