Michael Hirthler, BSN, RN, NC-BC, is the founder of Here2Health, a nurse focused health and wellness coaching practice built specifically for healthcare professionals.

A registered nurse for more than seven years in med-surg and telemetry units across 7 hospitals, Michael holds a BSN from Thomas Jefferson University, a BS in Kinesiology from Penn State (where he served as head coach of the PSU CrossFit Club), and is a Board Certified Nurse Coach (NC-BC) through the American Holistic Nurses Association. He is currently pursuing an MS in Nutrition Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania.

Michael's approach to coaching is rooted in his own transformation. At 16 years old, weighing 242 pounds with no roadmap and no coach, he began a journey of trial, error, and disciplined experimentation across nutrition, various training pursuits, and the adoption of a growth mindset — a journey that has since taken him through a 100km ultramarathon, two Philadelphia Marathons, recreational strength competitions, and the opportunity to coach over 100 individuals toward their unique goals. All while working full time at the bedside.

Today, Michael combines his clinical background with real-world coaching experience to help nurses navigate the unique demands of shift work, chronic stress, and physically taxing schedules. Through Here2Health, he blends clinical reasoning with practical, sustainable behavior change, with one goal in mind: helping nurses become the healthier, more confident, and more capable versions of themselves. His mission is rooted in the belief that a nurse who takes sufficient care of themselves will provide better care to their patients.
