UPMC Staff Relief Outreach

Right in our town - UPMC Memorial Hospital is experiencing a tragedy.

We are heartbroken by the news of our local hospital colleagues that were faced with an active shooter at their hospital on February 22nd, 2025.

We spent a large amount of 2025 ralling around and supporting the staff of UPMC. With the 1 year anniversary approaching, we are committing to restarting our support and services for our community.

Our Efforts include -

• Hospital Unit drops - Providing meals, gifts of support and coffee to staff. If you want us to come to your unit, please fill out the form below

• We have partnered with Debriefing the Frontlines to cover 1:1 debriefing sessions - Link to book complementary session here

• We have partnered with Vibe Higher LLC to cover group debriefing sessions (space reserved for groups of 8 nurses) - Link to book complementary sessions here

• A free memorial gathering for staff with nourishing food, guided coping and reflection activities such as journaling and aromatherapy for UPMC Staff alongside UPMC Leadership support. More details to come!

• Scholarships to Rekindled Nurse Events. Peer Groups, Monthly Workshops and a Conference in March offering community, connection, encouragement & support

• Additional Mental Health resources to help - Operation Happy Nurse, Victory Church in Lancaster PA for prayer, Suicide & Crisis Hotline call or text 988, Debriefing the Frontlines, Holy Ground Healthcare, Leg Up Farm Equine Assisted Psychotherapy Program

Our goals are to create psychological safety, build trust & acknowledge the trauma from the devastating events they’ve experienced.

We are in need of volunteers, meals/food, gifts and financial support to make an impact for the staff.
